Yolandi & Jacques said their vows on the beach in Wilderness on a hot & overcast Saturday afternoon last weekend.
Yolandi putting on her “shoes” … (honestly, who wears shoes on the beach? Not even the all-dressed-in-black wedding photographer wears shoes on the beach!)

Love the cigars.

I attended a workshop by Dror Eyal, hosted by Sybrand, in Cape Town last week and came back to George with a lot to think about, especially on the branding side of the business. I really don’t think many people know how much time, blood, sweat and tears go into being a wedding photographer. We don’t just hang around at weddings for a few hours on a Saturday and then do nothing for the rest of the week. Being a wedding photographer is FULL time job. It’s hard work physically (ask anyone who has lugged around two camera with lenses, and an a heavy camera bag for 8 hours straight), and truth be told - the real work actually starts after the wedding. Anyway, I’m getting carried away here. I really enjoyed the workshop and meeting the other Cape Town photographers. Expect to see a few changes over the next few months. I just have to go sit and figure out what those changes will be exactly :)

Hallo, beautiful bruid, ek like die beach foto met die wit stoele, lyk half tropies en warm..
love the colour of the beach shots, perfect time of day, stunning light.
Hi Annemarié, your photos have a subtle sensitiveness to them. Their beautifully exposed and really tells you a story!
Hoor, hoor! Bloedsweet soos jy sê! Ek loove die eerste shot en die black en white portrait een op die beach – perfect composition!
