I’ve been looking forward to photographing Sally Jazz’s wedding from the first time I met them on their family farm, Highgate Ostrich Showfarm, just outside of Oudshoorn. I don’t know what it is about the Karoo, but I love it.
Of course, being the Karoo, and not to mention December, it was almost unbearably hot when I arrived at La Plume, a beautiful guest house just down the road from Highgate, where Sally, her mom and bridesmaids were getting dressed. The heat certainly didn’t bother them much!
After the ceremony it cooled down, thankfully and we had a fun creative shoot on the farm. These two where naturals in front of the camera and it shows in the photos!
Sally & Jazz, thank you so much for a great day and I hope you enjoyed your Christmas/honeymoon!

” I love you, Beanie!” Too cute for words!

I am normally not a huge fan of this “pose”, but I promise this actually happened totally naturally. Jazz got up to help Sally up, and I just asked to “hold it” ;)
