Therese & Kallie, Hermanus

What an awesome wedding at La Vierge in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley just on the outskirts of Hermanus. I loved Therese’s dusty pink fairy dress and cowboy boots. We where very lucky with beautiful light and warm weather. I must say, I think late April and early May is my favorite time for weddings.  The light just seems to have an otherworldly quality to it.

Pieter and I stayed over in Hermanus for the night and took the time to walk around the town the next morning. I’ve been in Hermanus once or twice before, looong ago, and I was pleasantly surprised with this little town. I can see why it’s such a popular holiday town. And apparently it has champagne air. Don’t know what it means, but it sounds good to me!
