Welcome to my website!

Hi, I’m Annemari and welcome to my blog. I am a wedding photographer based in the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.

Photography is my love and passion (after my gorgeous husband of course) and I am very blessed to have such an amazingly cool job.

I am a very relaxed and easy going kind of person and my style of photography reflects this. I like to be unobtrusive and blend in and I use natural light as much as I can. I don’t really like very formal and stiff, posed photos. I will give you direction though. But don’t be surprised if I ask you to “go stand over there and talk to each other” :)

I am always available and eager to chat about my photography and would love to hear about your plans for your wedding, so feel free to browse around and if you would like to get in contact with me, give me a call on (+27) 82 822 7197 or drop me an email at info@annemari.co.za

I am an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA

Debbie & Thys @ Cafe Gannet Mossel Bay

Debbie & Thys got married on a sweltering hot day in February in Mossel Bay at Cafe Gannet. They had a beautiful ceremony attended by close family and friends and I feel very privileged to have been their photographer for this special day.

There were three photographers at the wedding, myself and two press photographers (and a reporter), so we couldn’t get to creative with the photos unfortunatly. Luckily I found this very old milkwood tree that made a cool spot. This tree is actually quite famous and is known as the “old post tree”. It looks like we are in a forest doesn’t it? Well, actually it’s all one tree!

After the reception the couple and all the guests continued the party on the Outeniqua Choo Choo train on a ride from Mossel Bay to George.
